Critical Vocie

I think it is necessary for a  teacher to have a critical voice. It is important to be in control of what students are taught and how student are taught. On Wednesday in class we look at textbook for social studies. In these books lesson and standard demand what should be taught and in the manner it should be taught in. These book write must think teachers are stupid, and are not able to plan a lesson. It is important that a teacher to step away from the textbook and create engaging lessons, so students will have a better education. Teachers should show better ways of teaching and assesses to form a better system of education. Also teachers should have a critical voice to advocate for their students and schools. As in the case with Valerie, whom we read about in Dosser's class, a teacher used her critical voice to show an injustice in the special education system. It is important to use your critical voice to flight for a student needs and support students.
